Maintaining and building our nation’s transportation roads and bridges is a great way to help our economy and gain valuable construction jobs. Another benefit is when our nation’s roads and bridges are in the best possible shape to assist in the transportation of goods and services this in its self helps our economy as well. Our nation’s roads and bridges are a few of the structural elements of what makes our nation’s economy operate efficiently and quickly. Many of our roads and bridges need work anyways and for the purpose of safely need to be repaired. Priority would be on the most economic impactful and most needing of repair. Secondary would be bridges and roads that link large metropolitan areas and require more "bandwidth" or through put.
