Create a "Kickstarter" where citizens may fund bills with their tax dollars in order to prevent superfluous spending

Government spending has long been out of control. With the advent of advanced telecommunications, the need for lawmakers to make decisions on behalf of the people is significantly diminished. By allowing people to voice their opinions by delegating how their tax dollars are spent, through a kickstarter-like website, power is shifted from the lawmakers to the people. This will allow smarter decisions to be made, remove power from corporate sponsors, cut down on unnecessary spending, and create a more involved democracy.
