Create large tariffs on goods from China and increase taxes on companies manufacturing products in China.

Our trade deficit with China in 2011 was over 295 billion dollars. American manufacturing jobs have been moved to China because companies have been able to produce their good cheaper there. We wish to rectify the trade imbalance and bring jobs back to America by imposing taxes on companies that chose to produce their goods in China to levels high enough that producing these goods in the United States becomes the best option. Companies who contract the creation of their goods to Chinese manufacturers will find the cheaper alternative to be producing or contracting with American manufacturers due to the dramatic increase in tariffs that we wish to see imposed. These taxes and tariffs will create a transfer of manufacturing jobs back to the United States as well as increasing GDP.
