Create large tax cuts for organic and natural products to decrease healthy food cost.

Created by K.S. on December 11, 2012

Grocery stores across America are packed with health food, but purchasing these foods isn't economically friendly.

America's Obesity rate is increasing every year in adults and children. Due to the recession and low incomes of underpaid/overqualified employment more unhealthy food is being consumed due to it's low cost.

IE: A loaf of bread is about $2.99, when a loaf of Gluten free bread is $6.99.

If these products were to give large tax cuts to the manufacturers they will not be so expensive and therefore allow more people to purchase them. Which would encourage healthy lifestyles in low income homes such as: college students, new families, welfare recipients, and entry level employees.
