Create a larger railroad network for public transport, especially around the D.C. area to include Virginia.

Created by A.B. on August 05, 2013

I ask that the current administration considers investing in helping to expand the current railroad network for public transport, especially in northern Virginia and Maryland to commute to D.C.

I believe this would help reduce the amount of traffic in D.C. (rated the worst in America), as well as help hundreds of thousands of Americans save a lot on gas, which allows them to save for other goods and therefore helps boost the American economy. Furthermore, it would help the environment in allowing Americans to not drive as far if they commute to D.C. or other cities, and give them more options rather than constantly driving their car.

Lastly, it would greatly improve job growth as the railroad companies would have more business from thousands of new customers.
