Water is essential to life, and the way we use it isn't healthy for the environment. From half hour showers to lasting leaks, water is wasted every single day.
Congress needs to create a law in order to decrease our daily usage, because most Americans won't stop or notice how much they're using unless it costs them. Believe in climate change or not, our water usage is out of control, from government subsidies to the evaporative loss from reservoirs. With our usage, the whole United States could end up as dry as the western part. Remember, the Sahara desert used to be an area with lakes, suitable for agriculture. Climate change doesn't exempt anyone,and we need to do our part to slow it.
