This petition shall be used for government review to create a law ending prohibition of marijuana in the state of Florida for recreational use under strict regulation and taxation. The law shall end criminalizing users of marijuana with posession of 1 ounce or less. The law will create tax revenue for the state of Florida by permitting marijuana to be sold where permitted, under state regulation where it shall be taxed similiarly to alcohol and tobacco. Tax money should no longer be spent on law enforcement towards incriminating simple marijuana posession in the state of Florida, creating more usable resources and revenue towards more severe offenses.
