Create a law to end prohibition of marijuana for recreational use in the state of Ohio under proper regulations.

This petition shall be used for government review to create a law ending prohibition of marijuana in the state of Ohio for recreational use under strict regulation and taxation. The law shall end criminalizing users of marijuana with possession of 1 ounce or less. The law will create tax revenue for the state of Ohio by permitting marijuana to be sold where permitted, under state regulation where it shall be taxed similarly to alcohol and tobacco. Tax money should no longer be spent on law enforcement towards incriminating simple marijuana possession in the state of Ohio, creating more usable resources and revenue towards more severe offenses.
