Create a law by Executive Action that allows the American people to vote on whether Congress gets a pay or benefit raise

If Congress see's fit to to interfere with pension plans of the public we the people should be able to determine what we the people feel is appropriate for our elected officials wages and pensions to be. It is well known that some pension plans are it trouble not unlike the US economy being 18 trillion dollars in debt we should be able to cut the pensions of elected officials to help reduce this problem.
