If you lunge at some officers without any weapons in your hand, those officers go ahead and escalate with a TASER. If you pull out a knife, those officers shoot you down with their guns.
With all the violence going on, why should police just add coals to the fire? They are better armed than us and the law lets them do whatever they want. Because they are the law.
We need a new law that ensures it's always a fair fight.
* If an assailant is empty-handed, cops have to kill them with their bare hands in a one-to-one street brawl match.
* If an assailant has a melee weapon, cops can use their choice of melee weapon. For example, knife versus broadsword.
* Cops have to always wait til the bad guy draws first before fast-drawing their gun and shooting assailants dead.
Let's make it fair.
