create a law ordering complete transparency in food manufacturing.

Created by L.C. on February 26, 2013

Food labeling can sometimes be confusing & misleading. Unfortunately, we are left largely uninformed regarding the manufacturing processes for most of the foods we consume.

Although many countries around the world have banned genetically modified food planting & production, not only does the US still allow GM foods, but labeling is not even required.

Each food manufacturer should be required to post on-line: the details of their manufacturing processes, the results of USDA inspections, the origin of their ingredients, (if not a common name, an explanation of what it is) how it's prepared, shipped, etc. Consumers have the right to know what we're eating and feeding to our families.
