In Michigan, when a retailer charges you the wrong price, you are entitled to up to 10 times the pricing error. This law helps ensure fair pricing among retailers. No such law exists for cable providers. When a cable company, like Comcast, repeatedly charges you for services not rendered, they should also have to pay up to 10 times the error. This would incentivise them to both bill correctly and fix their billing errors in a timely fashion.
