Create a law that prevents visible tattoo discrimination in the workplace.

Created by A.D. on April 21, 2015

People with tattoos have the same capability to do the same work as the people without tattoos. There is no current law that prevents employers firing employees based solely on having tattoos covered or not covered. According to a 2013 Harris Interactive poll, over half of Americans are for tattoos in the workplace. Through out the whole United States there are 21,000 tattoo parlors that bring in about 1.65 billion dollars annually. If discrimination in the workplace over tattoos was illegal that number could rise tremendously, which in turn will help the economy.
