Mr President,
I would like you to think back to all of those special thanksgiving's you have shared with your beautiful family sitting around a table, waiting all day to enjoy a delicious meal and kick back to enjoy the day together, take a post turkey nap or watch a ball game or movie.
Millions of hard working Americans are losing those memories year after year due to retail stores opening earlier and earlier. Stores are now opening at 9pm on Thanksgiving day. Most employees will have to be there a few hours early to prep. Most will go without holiday pay.
Both sides of the aisle agree how important a strong family is to this country. Please restrict retail stores from opening before 12am for Black Friday and help strengthen the American Family.
