Create a law that prohibits the burning of the American flag and establish it as a treasonous act.

It is not in violation of the Bill of Rights. Burning an American flag, should be viewed as an act of treason against the government and against the men and women who fight in the military to defend the sacred honor of the American flag. Many see this act as an expression for freedom of speech. However, there are consequences when free speech provides a clear and present danger to others. Burning the nation's flag may be a sign of symbolic speech, but it is treasonous. It does not express a disapproval of policy, but a clear hatred of this government and it's people. Terrorists burn our flag, and giving that right to an American citizens is wrong.
