grant rehabilitated felons the ability to have a clean record after 15 years of clean record. This would only pertain to felons that have had zero contact with law in the community for the 15 years. Also this would not include felons with convictions for weapon related, rape, murder, domestic abuse, trafficing.
this petition would grant the right to felons after 15 years to no longer have to disclose criminal past on job applications for refineries, port jobs, civil service, ect. this petition would grant the right to purchase and own a firearm, but not allow person to work as a peace officer or court official. in this day and age gun rights should not be stripped away from a person that has had a mistake as a juvinile but it follows him or her for life. not all felonys should grant a fire
