Create a law that requires the planting of at least two trees for every tree that is cut down within the United States.

Created by M.C. on August 21, 2014

Trees are a limited natural resource that must be protected at all costs.

While we humans consume trees at an alarming rate for uses such as lumber and paper, we often forget that trees are necessary for clean air and habitat for the wildlife that we share this planet with. If we continue to cut down more and more trees every year, we will soon be forced to face the horrifying reality where there are no more trees left to cut down.

We must act now. We the People ask President Obama to create a law that decrees the planting of at least two trees for every tree that is cut down by a U.S logging company.
