Create a law requiring employers to have Non-HR employee advocates that allow employees to voice workplace concerns.

Created by D.S. on January 31, 2014

Employees have rights within the workplace. They have the right to be happy, to be successful, and to have a work life balance. Employees should be treated with respect. They should not be discriminated against. Their personal information should be protected and should not released to other individuals, contractors or customers without going through an approved legal process. Employees should not be harassed by managers, human resources or others. Employer’s should not pre-text others to gain information on that employee. In today's society, the silent truth has revealed that human resources is there to protect the company, not the employee. It is critically important that employers are mandated to have employee advocates to protect an employee’s rights and to voice workplace concerns.
