create a law requiring the US government to make a balance budget every fiscal year

A law must be passed to have a balanced budget every year. Many states pass balanced budgets every year in order to prevent waste and to keep from increasing the deficit. The federal government should be required to do the same. We should do all we can to prevent adding to the deficit.
