As I watched the news over the past several months, I have accepted information as being correct, only to do further research and find out it was almost completely wrong. Much of the information was purposely false just to incite a false belief in the masses.
When I watch a news program, I expect to get accurate information. Canada has a law to stop this from happening. It's called Canada's Radio Act and states "A licensee shall not broadcast any false or misleading news."
I think we could use a law like that in America.
