create a law that would require human rights & online advocates be consulted before internet policy bills are considered

It has become clear that most members of congress have no fundamental understanding of how new internet policies can effect internet service or human rights. Which is why those who have signed this petition are proposing a mandatory requirement that members of congress must acquire a legal signature or Afa Davit from online and human rights experts before they can submit any proposed bill on the subject of internet policy. The experts must have 2 years’ experience in their respective fields, and have been cited in an academic publication or academically accepted research source. Failure to acquire signatures from both fields will result in the barring of the proposed bill from entering the house or senate to be voted on. Repeat failure to do so will result in the automatic veto of the bill
