Create laws improving the lives and treatment of livestock.

Cows, pigs, chickens, etc. are all used in the agricultural system. With this comes extreme abuses. Calfs are separated from their mothers very soon after birth, and put in veal production facilites, where they have little to no space for themselves, and have little opportunity, if any at all, to even move about. Dairy cows are continuously impregnated, just to keep them filled with milk. After a few years of this use, they are slaughtered. Egg-laying hens are kept in areas overcrowded with other chickens. In these areas, waste is all around, as are dead chickens and disease. These animals have very poor lives, and have few laws protecting their rights. The government should create laws to ensure these animals a reasonable quality of life, free from abuse.
