Although there is currently a legal age to buy tobacco, there is no legal age to consume it. Therefore, people under that legal age are potentially able to acquire tobacco and consume it with no legal consequence. While it is well-known that tobacco cannot be made illegal since it regulates the economy so much, there is no reason our youth should be made susceptible to this drug at an early age, or at all for that matter.
