I. Currently, all members of the House and Senate receive payment of salary for life after even one term. Create legislation that will end this as there is absolutely no basis in need or reality. Nor is there any equivalent benefit in any government or civilian organisation. It is also an expensive fiscal burden for taxpayers to bear.
II. If there is a stoppage of government services and payments due to a funding crisis created by a failure of the legislative branch to pass a budget, these stoppages of payment also apply to thee salaries and benefits of all members of the Legislative Branch.
