Create legislation forcing states to recognize PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE (Mental/Emotional, etc.) as Domestic Violence !

Created by A.B. on March 20, 2013

In many states, Psychological Abuse IS NOT considered a crime as physical abuse. Victims of all sexes, etc., their children, stay in an unsafe home (death threats, taking the children away, etc.). Once they leave from their abuser THE LACK OF PHYSICAL marks makes them A TARGET for more abuses, which is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to RETAIN LEGAL PROTECTION from ABUSE, because Psychological scaring is INVISIBLE. When the victims shows emotions in Family Court - the judge, mental/court reps. considers this "Negative Behaviors" which ARE NOT considered 'domestic violence'. Due to the LACK OF Appropriate LEGISLATION we ARE NOT protected!! Please help us strongly encourage the Obama Administration - particularly with the help of Joe Biden - to include Psychological Abuses as a form of domestic violence.
