The only politician I've ever met who had common sense was a man named Mike Michaud, a congressman from Maine and a mill worker who'd never even been to college. He clarified an issue that had been brought to my attention a long while ago: infighting in the House and Senate.
How many bills are being held or simply shot down just because the pitch came from the other party? During Michaud's time on Veteran's Affairs, he was questioned intensely for even HEARING OUT Republican ideas.
This leads to pizza being a vegetable instead of real problems being solved.
While they may have all the right intentions these parties are doing too much fighting and ignoring just to "win" and not to better America. Shouldn't the ultimate goal of all the parties be to better America because they're a team?
