create legislation for Registered Nurse First Assists.

Registered Nurse First Assists (RNFA) have been assisting in the place of Surgeon's for many years now, however during all of this time there has yet to be any push by the government to ensure that these individuals are paid by federal/state funded insurances like other Assisting Surgeon's, Physician Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners. It is widely know that RNFA's that do bill private insurance companies, do so at a much lower rate than the previously mentioned providers, which in turn saves the patients and insurance companies sometimes thousands of dollars for each surgical case the patient has. Please help RNFA's throughout the nation by bringing this to the attention of our Government and help save more money for us all.
