Any law that impacts the US as a whole (i.e. Obamacare, Immigration Reform, etc) should be voted on by the people and should have a 60% approval rating to be passed. Many of these laws are passed quickly, without thoroughly being read by those in the House and Senate approving them, as admitted in numerous interviews. By putting these laws to popular vote, any approved will be because it is truly what the US populace desire for this country.
