We the people of the United States of America petition the Obama Administration to create legislation that will establish a fund aimed specifically to reduce national debt. This legislation will require half of all political campaign dollars, both presidential and non-presidential, to go into this fund which will exist for the sole purpose of repaying our national debt.
The debt this nation has accrued is sickening. It is humiliating, embarassing and shameful. Equally embarrassing is the amount of money donated to political campaigns from sources seeking their own agenda, not congruent with desires of Americans. The American people will no longer tolerate this embarassment. It is time for strong action to be taken to reduce our debt and get our country back on the right economic track.
