The problem behind incidents behind Columbine High School, the theater in Aurora, Colorado, and Sandy Hook Elementary is not merely a firearm issue...it's a mental/emotional issue and perhaps a family issue. We should not only protect our citizens by restricting access to firearms where necessary, but we should attack the root of the problem by addressing the mental/emotional needs of troubled individuals.
