Create legislation that will truly address crimes related to firearms without a firearms ban. Pass a RGO Act

As a Responsible Gun Owner (RGO) I should be responsible for how my firearm is used. I petition this administration to introduce legislation to congress to address the issue of firearm related crimes without any need for a firearms ban. Just as laws that hold bartenders, retailers, and parents accountable and negligent for serving underage individuals alcohol, this law will do the same to gun owners. It will curtail firearm related crimes dramatically by ensuring gun owners properly secure and monitor the use of their firearms. Should a gun be used in a crime where it can be determined that the owner of the gun did not take adequate precautions to keep his/her firearm from being used illegally, the gun owner would also be liable. I accept this constraint and ask you to pass a RGO Act
