We request that telemarketers be regulated, for example, the telephone number shown on caller I.D. should be the number used to make the call, not 0000000 or anonymous. If a telemarketer is told to no longer call a number, calls should cease. Telemarketers should be prevented from calling on weekends, before ten a.m. and after 5 p.m. on weekdays. They should be limited to the number of calls they can make to any number and there should be penalties for any company that disregards any regulations.
