A peaceful proposition requiring that during ammunition sales within the US, territories that requires all people purchasing ammunition to sign a national register containing the ammo caliber, amount of round, persons name, address, phone number and ID number. This is similar to regulations used for the purchase of baby formula and pseudoephedrine.
This would allow for better tracking of ammo when used in crimes and would hopefully prevent ammunition from being sold to illegal firearm owners and users.
