Create a legislative definition of ASSAULT WEAPONS. Perhaps a gun that can fire 20X in

Created by S.F. on December 24, 2012

We the people ask the White House to work with Congress to establish a legislative definition of assault weapons. They should be defined by lethality, based on how many rounds can be fired in a specified number of seconds, not by physical characteristics. To fairly judge speed and accurately set a standard for each gun, military marksmen could do rapid-fire tests. And to protect our 2nd Amendment rights, responsible measures may need to be added. However, our Rights are not absolute. Free Speech is limited, the Right to Keep and Bear Arms is limited. Freedom isn't free. It is limited by We the People, in the best interests of our society. One change cannot stop senseless killing, but we can't honestly so it won't save ONE life.
