Create a lemon law that protects video game and software consumers from fraudulent developers.

We request that the government intervenes with the "crowd funding" for video game and software developers. There has been a trend of developers that advertise their unfinished product on Steam and Kickstarter with promises of finishing the development of the product and ultimately, they abandon the project after making hundreds of thousand of dollars. When this occurs, the consumer has no ability of asking for a refund nor he has the right to file a claim for not receiving the product they were promised. I urge that the government intervenes and regulates crowd funding and early development sales in order to prevent the abuse and fraud that is being committed against video games and software consumers.
