We can no longer afford to ignore the roots to the cause of overpopulation, child abuse and neglect, and welfare dependency in the United States. This is all caused by irresponsible parents having children when they truly shouldn’t. While our nation is focusing on terrorism, world hunger, and other issues around the world, we are missing a huge problem in our own country; a problem which is threating our society and the prosperity of future generations. The cause of this problem is because having children is treated as a given right, not a privilege. You are required a license to hunt, a license to fish, a license to drive. So why not a license to have children? It only makes sense.
