Create a living wage with health and retirement benefits. A median wage would be about, broadly, 40000 to 50000 dollars in wages and benefits.
By providing full exemption of wages and benefits, (up to a reasonable level, about 150000 to 200000 dollars),
employers should be able to better absorb wage increases.
No person should have to work for less than a dignified
living wage. Creating a living wage and quality, secure, benefits would go farther in improving society than anything government, or businesses collectively, can or are doing.
