Create a machine capable of seeing into the future so we may stop shootings before they start.

With the recent proposal to start construction of the Death Star thus providing us with interstellar security I believe it's time we shift focus to our security at home. I propose we create a device capable of stopping crime before it happens by allowing us to see the crime before it happens and prosecute those who would commit those crimes.
Let's face it. Gun control won't stop crime but seeing the future will!
