create a major infrastructure initiative to help aid the economic recovery.

Created by S.W. on September 24, 2011

Now more than ever, America needs to focus on rejuvenating the economy. Unemployment is still high, and the outlook is still dim.

Previously during such times, massive infrastructural undertakings took place. The Hoover Dam, a crowning acheivment in construction, was built during such times.

With the large number of unemployed, a significant new undertaking would be incredibly beneficial. Not only would those taking unemployment benefits be helping to give back to the community, but the outdated infrastructure of this country could be improved immensely.

A new public rail system? An upgrade of current highways? Maybe even the construction of new energy initiatives?

All would boost the economy, create new opportunity and impart new valuable skills to the populace.
