Under this bill Federal funding and support would be made available to schools, pre- schools and educational programs (after school, etc.) to help make a school safer. This would include but is not limited to:
Security training for all staff via homeland security.
Security upgrades to school campus' (including special lock-down alarms, security doors, bulletproof glass, bars, etc.)
Grant funding for a security officer or officers on campus.
A one alert system, which would alert all school staff as well as local police to problems with a touch of a button.
