A test on the general workings of the United States government and on the political history of the last 10 - 20 years. Also included would be a section on each of the candidates policies and position on the economy and foreign policy, as well as government programs, such as healthcare.
This test would need to be passed in order to be allowed to vote, thus only allowing informed voters to make decisions on the future of the country.
