create a mandatory minimum sentence for all officers of the law who engage in police brutality.

Over the past few decades, police brutality has increased drastically. Such behavior goes unnoticed, and unpunished. I believe the officers who we pay to protect us, should not be granted more rights than the citizens they serve. If there are "mandatory minimum sentences" for non-violent drug users, there should be the same for REAL criminals. Cameras everywhere capture brutality almost on a daily basis. The aftermath? They are either defended by their captain, or given a warning. How are the American people supposed to feel safe to call police, when they are afraid of them? If this isn't fixed soon, a massive civil war is inevitable. If nobody is watching the watchers, then what is the purpose of law or checks and balances? ANY OFFICER ON VIDEO USING EXCESSIVE FORCE, SHOULD BE JAILED!!!
