Create a mandatory personal finance curriculum for high school students.

Created by H.S. on February 13, 2013

Americans need to learn how to live within their means and save money in order for the economy to get back on track. Most Americans seem to forget that saving is, for the most part, the only way up the socio-economic ladder. A course in personal finance with a focus on practice instead of theory and true understanding of material instead of grades would give millions of young Americans a strong basis from which they can learn to better manage their finances. In the long run, this will increase the average wealth of Americans and benefit the country as a whole.
