We the people ask the government to limit how much CEOs can make in a year. We ask this because of the huge pay gap between the rich and the poor. The ratio between CEO and worker pay is around 273:1. This allows the rich to wield more political power than the average middle class American and in turn corrupts the government to favor the upper class.
