Create a memorial shrine to the victims of domestic gun violence in the US to be placed in the DC National Mall

Created by D.B. on December 03, 2015

As there is nothing we can do about gun violence legislatively, as it appears to be a byproduct of our constitutional liberties, those who have met their end in what would then need to be viewed as dying in name of this 2nd Amendment Liberty, deserve to be remembered, and remembered nationally for their "patriotic service" to our country.

I wish that it could name every person shot in America (excluding criminal deaths), but there are too many.

But it should have a space to fill in all the names on a monthly basis, who are shot from a set day forward.

It would serve as a tangible reminder to the loss of lives among our American brothers and sisters, and not allow us to forget them, when we are thankfully in-between a mass shootings.

The issue needs to remain in the public conscience.
