We the People appeal to the US Congress to create a Memorial to the Victims of Firearm Violence in this country, at the National Mall in Washington, DC, to give recognition to all the people who have lost their lives to firearm violence in the US: a pro-life monument, aimed to protect all our lives from that social ailment. To solve our growing problem, we must first recognize it at the national level. The Memorial could have a wall naming all victims, as well as statuary of the most infamous cases—presidents, civilians, civil servants, people of all races and walks of live, the young and the old.
We thus petition the President to allocate an appropriate place in the National Mall, and Congress, or the American People, to fund this much-needed Memorial.
