When equal rights were granted to women, the bill said that everyone regardless of age, gender, or race or ethnicity, would be guaranteed equal rights. So why is it that on the White House website, there is no "Men's Issues" category to describe a petition, but there is one for women? Men are also discriminated against in our country. Only until very recently in our young nation's history, only women could receive alimony. And in most divorce cases with parents fighting for custody of a child, women are granted custody nearly three times more frequently than men. These are issues that should be brought to the attention and agenda of the government.
