Create mental institutions for clinically insane to receive the treatment they need to prevent things like shootings.

With the amount of school shootings and suicides in our country it is no secret that we have a problem that needs to be addressed. Among these shootings that have taken place there has been a common thread that many of people committing theses crimes have mental issues. This could be something small like insecurities of something big like schizophrenia but whatever it is, it's there. A better way to take care of the mental unstable is to have the government fund mental institutions to help these people work out their problems and get medication. These places are just like normal hospitals but treat different types of patients and if we created them, in the long run, it would help things like school shootings from happening as frequently.This isn't just about gun control, mental care too.
