Throughout the many years of the U.S. Census being taken every decade, the demographic makeup of our nation has changed drastically, yet the census remains relatively unchanged. In order to better represent the American population and end the erasure of the identity of millions of Americans, we ask the United States Census Bureau to add a Middle Eastern and North African racial classification category, to be defined according to federal government-recognized boundaries of said regions.
