This military stimulus petition is to create milestone bonuses for military personnel regardless of career field. All military careers are important, not just high risk or critically manned ones. The milestones would be for every 5 years of service as follows:
5 years: $10,000
10 years: $15,000
15 years: $20,000
20 years: $25,000
These bonuses would also be retroactive for personnel still in the military and would offer $10,000 to personnel that have left the military but have served at least 5 years in the military since 11 Sept 2001.
By doing this servicemembers would be more interested in staying in the military and doing multiple enlistments, it would create opportunity to stimulate the economy near military bases, and it would reward those that have sacrificed for our freedoms.
